Meet Francesca
I'm a tour guide with a big passion for art history and Renaissance period. I studied in a Cinematography Accademy and also have a degree in "Languages, literature and artistic cultures" with a Research Dissertation on the La Fornarina painting by Raffaello. I keep doing University Renaissance research to this day. I also speak fluent English and French in addition to Italian, plus have a good knowledge of Russian and German too. I also used to work in Museum Administration, in the fashion Industry and in an International High School as a French teacher. I started to become interested in the art field since I was very little, because my grandfather was an art critic, painter and art professor and he inspired me so much. I would like to ignite your interest in Italian culture so you can experience a wider variety of its intricacies! I want to depict an Italy in which cuisine doesn't only mean pasta and pizza, and where art history can be appreciated from many different perspectives. As an Art Historian myself, my goal is to address your interests, adding a personal touch to every tour I conduct. I hope that by the end of my tour you're able to not just retrieve information, but also retain that same passion I have for Italian culture and art history. As a tour guide as well, I feel like an Art History ambassador, and I feel the huge responsibility and privilege of having the honor to share my rich culture with you. I am looking forward to taking you around my city and discussing art, music, gastronomy and secrets of my beloved Tuscany with you. So, if you are willing to explore and to try a memorable experience with a real local by your side, let's get in touch!
